Information Collection
When you create an account at SadiesRecipes.com, you provide your name, your email address, and a profile picture. If you are logging in via Facebook, you also provide a list of your Facebook friends and other basic information Facebook provides. Your name and profile picture are publicly available via the SadiesRecipes.com search function. However, the rest of the information you provide is kept confidential and only will not be given out to anyone.
Additionally, any recipes you create are private by default, but can be marked as public and then can be retrieved via search by any other site users. You can also choose to share recipes (public or private) with any users you follow.
You have the option to share recipes with your friends who don't have an account on SadiesRecipes.com. These one-time emails will be sent to an email address you specify, but that address will not be saved and the recipient will not be subscribed to any lists. If the recipient no longer desires to receive these emails, they must contact you directly.
Cookies
Cookies are only used on SadiesRecipes.com to track whether or not you are logged in. If cookies are disabled, you will still be able to use the website, but your login session will be shorter.
Location Information
Your location is not determined or used by SadiesRecipes.com. The only location-related information retrieved and/or stored is your timezone, which is used to properly determine when events occur. It is never shown to any other users.
Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through your account settings.
Your Data
Your data is yours--it belongs to you, not us. As such, we will never sell or give your information to anyone (such as advertisers, social networks, etc.) without your consent.
However, we may occasionally use anonymized data, such as grocery item categorization choices, to improve usage for other users.
It is your responsibility to keep it secure behind a good password. If you forget your password or otherwise lost access to your account, email sadiesrecipe@gmail.com for assistance.
Age Limit
SadiesRecipes.com is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do now knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If your child is under the age of 13 and has created an account on SadiesRecipes.com, please inform us and we will take steps to remove their account and information.
